“Having gained work experience at a recording studio at the age of 14, I instantly knew that it was what I wanted to do. At the age of 16, I opened my first DIY recording studio and started recording my own band’s music, along with some of my friends’ bands.”
Rich studied Music Technology in Bangor whilst slowly building up a name for himself as one of the best producers in North Wales.
“My clientele began to grow. I recorded several Welsh language albums and started to gain recognition throughout the Welsh music scene, which, at the time, was a growing market with a very healthy following.”
Rich has been nominated several times for ‘Producer of the Year’ at BBC Radio Cymru’s RAP Awards.
“In 2009, I decided to expand my business and had Ferlas Studio built, which was professionally designed by Studio Acoustics Ltd. Expanding my studio has allowed me to attract a wider range of clients.”
